Hey Mons, no i'm using them to start the new game, I think the screen shots were taken when i'd set the new game to start on the Brazil timeline rather than the start of english league.

But definitely editing the files before I start a new game

Sure thanks Mons appreciated, ideally i'm looking to use in Dan's Level 15 file, but have also tried on a standalone editor file, both have the same issue, the new name shows in the search field, but the league table and numerous other places show the old name.

I'm trying to change the team name of a lower level english team, i've amended using the official pre game editor, i've also updated in the Real Team Name file as part of the download from Sortitoutsi.

Whilst the new team name shows when you search, the league table, main squad and fixtures still show the original team name instead of the new one.

Baffled ....... lol

I can't think where the system can be picking up the original team name from? Any ideas?
