@Miguerp1007 our database is collaborative so if there's something you can add it, which will probably work better than trying to merge another database since while there may be things in that database we've missed there will also be things we've covered that will be duplicated.

The chance of finding another database that has exclusively added things we haven't with no overlap is close to impossible.

Christoph Freund was changed to be a Technical Director. I've no personal knowledge of Bayern Munich to know if this is correct or not.

Can you be more specific about other people where this is happening?

That's not intentional, SI have broken something to do with directors and set piece coaches in the latest update.

They haven't responded to the bug report on their forums yet.

The daily data update does not modify sponsorships at all.

The only way sponsorships would be modified is if they were modified in the specific nation/league file.

@Dario Neyts can you give some more specific examples? Just saying “I have seen some errors” but then not describing them and expecting other people to figure it out themselves from a screenshot is going to slow things down alot.

It's not clear if you're saying that every single league is wrong or if there are just a few mistakes within each league.

We've had this problem before and I was sure it's fixed, I don't know why it would be occurring again.

Just to be clear this is a SI bug not an extraction bug, it's best fixed by the usual submission method.

If you edit him in 26.0 he won't magically appear in 26.2.

You could try opening him in 26.0 clicking duplicate to get a second Frank Fijkaard, exporting to xml and then loading the 26.2 and importing the xml.

However I have a feeling this won't work.

I seem to remember a work around if you edit the attributes and then revert them it works (e.g. put a space after his name and then remove the space). But i'm not 100% sure.

This is untested I am just trying to remember past attempts. Apologies if it's inaccurate.

Injuries are not it's been on the todo list for a while but unfortunately has yet to be implemented.

I've changed the FM24 update from building every 20 minutes to building every 60 minutes, apologies for that, the server has been undergoing some stress recently and i'm trying to investigate causes and reduce the load its under.

The fm26 update will continue to update every 20 minutes.

@deacon87 what edits do you want to make, ideally we'd make it possible to add them here after all it's a collaborative update.

The data update is back live again 🙂

Sorry it took so long, SI made 17,000 changes between March 10 and April 1 so it's much easier to just close for those 20 days than try and create our own changes during that time and then merge them together later.

But as far as i'm aware there are not going to be any more updates to FM26 ever again so now it's all on us 💪

Hey I totally understand wanting to keep it clean but starting again breaks how people tend to use the website and the internet as a whole

(1) We have the download tracker which lets people know when a file they've downloaded has been updated, if you create a new post instead nobody is going to get the notification.

(2) It's common for people to not remember the names of things when they return. If someone is looking for the skin they downloaded last time (your skin) people will do things like check their download history or read post history, if things are deleted you're stopping users from that common path to finding something.

For example when people say “thanks alot great work” they're not always just being nice, that's a very common technique to “bookmark” something. When they come back they check their post history to find the comment and remember what it was they liked before.

If we delete the comments “because they were made on an older format” all you're going to do is break that path for that person and make them think they're crazy “I could have sworn I commented on a yellow skin and the author replied to me, but I can't find it anywhere now!”

I totally get the desire to keep things neat and tidy and clear out “old” things and that makes perfect sense when you're organising your documents folder on your personal computer.

But an internet forum isn't the same, it's used by millions of people who all navigate the “mess” in their own way and it's better to keep the history.

I hope this doesn't come across as criticism, text can often come across more sternly when typing. I'm just trying to explain from a perspective that you probably haven't though about before, hopefully you find that interesting and thought provoking.

At the very least can you try and make sure you update the post if it's an update to the skin so that it doesn't break the download tracker.

Where exactly are you looking to discover these duplicates?

The UI of the site is a bit messy at the moment so totally understandable to get confused if I can understand where you think you're seeing these duplicates I can try and improve what information on the page to make it clear.

Mr Tini removed his skin, where exactly are you clicking when you say you are downloading it?

@e1twat0 it seems unnecessary to keep deleting skins and recreating new ones.

Generally we don't delete anything, there are no doubt old files from FM18 that don't work anymore but that's fine, they're there for posterity sake, it may have some use to someone.

Perhaps there's some additional reason you keep deleting skins that i'm not aware of but ideally the deletion of skins would not be a regular event.

Interesting is that just because it needs rebuilding or have they made changes that totally block the ability to do this?

Are you updating the data update without updating the new players pack? If so that would be why, you also need to redownload the new players facepack.

@Miguel Ruiz Diaz can you please confirm if this removes the default ingame ads that have clickable advertising?

Unfortunately SI/SEGA have threatened us with legal action before for hosting files that remove paid adverts so you need to confirm it doesn't do this or I will have to delete it.

@ahmet3344 can you give more information things like the name of the file that is downloaded, links to where you're clicking etc
