Hello.

I've recently been prompted to check this out, so here I am. I was reading through the comments and came across a lot of interesting responses. I'm excited to see what this is like, though feel I may be missing out on some of it as I play in 2D mainly.

I also just wanted to clarify, despite me now producing some content for another site (which is being debated in here) the video posted today on that channel has and had nothing to do with me.

i honestly couldn’t care less what they think. I stopped playing fm until this patch because to me the game just hasn’t advanced that much for a few years in particular the ME. the media side of it also hasn’t either. Same questions same limited answers that Cause conflict when talking to players. That’s the most frustrating part. That side of it needs a complete overhaul. I don’t expect any big changes in fm21 mainly because of Covid. That won’t stop the usual vid by miles telling us all the fantastic new features in the game. 😀


Using Covid as an excuse for shit programming is such a weak excuse, programming is one of the few jobs not affected by distance considering you can literally do it from home just like you can do it in office, and it's 2020 so they're definitely able to communicate in real time about anything they're currently working on.

It's a convenient excuse for why the game will probably be the same as the last 2 versions.

It's so obvious someone from SI ordered them to do such an absurd video to discredit the actual effect this "patch" has.

A bit of a tip: every single FM Youtuber, blogger or any sort of content creator is not allowed to criticize FM, SI or Miles because they lose their perks.

Whoever sucks up to them gets featured on their website, gets RTd and promoted in other ways so yeah, don't go to the "famous" guys for valid opinions. I was a part of that community and I know way too many shitty things these people do for SI.

Yeah I have noticed this too. Some defenders do this as well. Not completely sure what it is yet. Nothing logical change this behavior, expect from people on no nonsense doing it more frequently. Sometimes it is a positive thing, and sometimes, like your case, is it completely off and stupid. This is something I would really like to figure out, as it is one of the only negative effects of the engine, right now as I know of.


Good to know it's a valid issue! If that gets changed, this is a massive improvement on the original game(already is but you know what I mean).

One thing I notice which I consider an issue is that players or keepers instantly kick the ball out for a throw-in or a corner no matter how close the opposition are, as long as they're starting to press.

I'm about to try it out as I genuinely have a hard time believing someone could've fixed something SI "couldn't" in many years.

Also, Reddit users are twats and they hate admitting they're doing the same thing as FIFA players which is buying the same game every year without any meaningful improvements.
