Installation Instructions
1. How do I install the cut-out megapack if I’m using Steam on Windows?
Watch this YouTube tutorial video, which should you guide you on the steps you need to follow to install it. Although it is for an older version of FM, the steps are still the same. You need to use Winrar (or a similar program) to extract the downloaded file.
This is what the MP folder should look like for the respective version of FM you're using:
Anything beyond the blue line is up to you and how you want to structure your folders.
The preferences should look like in the below screenshot:
To get them to look like this, navigate to your preferences on the welcome screen or by using the drop-down menu near the top right of the menu within your save game.
Choose the advanced tab (the blue square within the screenshot above) and select all from the drop-down menu on the right (the red square within the screenshot above).
Scroll down to the interface section near the middle of the list, where you are to make sure that:
• the “Use caching to decrease page loading times” box is unticked
• the “Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences” box is ticked
After clicking confirm, it may take a few seconds or minutes for all the graphics to be loaded and you should now see all the graphics you have downloaded appear in your save game.
Once your skin is reloaded, you can re-tick the "Use Caching to Decrease Page Loading Time" button so that the splash screen at the start takes a lot less longer to load. However, the above process needs to be undertaken every time you add graphics to your game to ensure that the game "reads" them.
2. How do I install the cut-out megapack if I’m using a Mac OS?
From FM20 onwards, there's been a substantial change to how Mac FM documents are stored. Previously the files would automatically go in the Documents folder here:
Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 202x
Now the files will instead appear in the following location:
Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 202x
By default this folder is hidden, so to access you need to do as follows:
Open Finder
Click ‘Go’ from the menubar
Press and hold down the ‘Option’ (Alt) key
This will bring up the ‘Library’, click to enter then go to ‘Application Support’ -> ‘Sports Interactive’ -> ‘Football Manager 202x -> graphics’ (create the last folder if necessary
Anything beyond this path line is up to you and how you want to structure your folders.

3. I don’t want to have the megapack in the default user data folder – can I place it elsewhere and how would I do so?
You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.
The above step does not apply if you’re playing on Gamepass, in which case the user data location has to be the default one (i.e. Documents / Sports Interactive / Football Manager 202x)
It is recommended that the user data location is not placed within the Steam installation folder as this may cause issues.
4. How do I install the cut-out megapack if I’m using Gamepass?
If you're using Gamepass, then you have to use the default user data folder - point 4 above does not and can not apply to you.
Frequently Asked Questions
If you're not a premium member, it is recommended that you download the base megapack via torrent by going to our cut-out megapack download page. After which, you should then download all the update packs released to date and apply them chronologically.
If you're a premium member, just download the most recent complete pack.
If you already have a version of our Cut-Out Faces Megapack installed, then click "Download Latest Changes" and you'll be presented with a list of all the updates we've released since you've last downloaded a file. Simply download any you might have missed, starting with the oldest.

Torrent files need a torrent client to be downloaded. I personally use µTorrent but other common clients are BitTorrent, Vuze and Deluge. For those using torrents for the first time, here is a general walk-through on how to download torrents and a specific guide for µTorrent.
Be aware that it will take a substantial amount of time to download the file due to its sheer size and that other people depend on you hosting the file to get it so please leave your torrent client on after you have fully downloaded it. The etiquette is generally accepted to be to upload as much as you download, although this might not always be possible. The older the torrent file, the less likely it is that there will still be users seeding it.
If done correctly, you should be asked if you want to overwrite files – accept. You should have one folder for faces and another folder for iconfaces, and no sub-folder whatsoever in them.
These steps are to be repeated for every update pack downloaded, and they are to be installed chronologically.
Secondly, for files as large as this, the calculation of the extraction time will be wildly incorrect at the start. After a while, it'll show a more realistic timeframe, which shouldn't be more than an hour or two if you have a good setup and few programs running at the same time.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.
The likelihood is that you've put the iconfaces in the faces folder, or used the wrong config file for each folder. As a result, the smaller images (in 25x18) are being upscaled to be displayed in the person's profile, hence the blurring. Re-install the update pack again, making sure you put the contents of each folder in the right place.
Alternatively, you can download fmXML and generate a config yourself. There's a video on YouTube on how to use it but it's really easy and the instructions are quite straight-forward.
To get them to show, you should individually download the cut-out faces that you want from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

Short of deleting what you have and downloading it again (which still might not work), I don't know what to recommend. Based on the screenshots you've given me, it should work fine.
Given Rashford's face is blank, you either did not download the full megapack, or you did not install it correctly. Without seeing screenshots of your megapack folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder, it's a bit hard to tell.

i have downloaded that but he is not showing up in my pack.
mons
Then you must not have downloaded or installed it correctly mate 😕

i have a problem with my confiq file he is in the pack but showing up in the game, when i put a new update in my main pack what do i do with the confiq file.
JamesDavies10
Thank you. I've downloaded the entire pack as suggested but running into the following error message when extracting. I don't suppose you recognise it at all?
chiellinilookout
I've downloaded the mega pack twice now and the icon faces folder isn't downloading and the config file isn't either.
I've downloaded it in the past and deleted it, if that is effecting anything?

What does this mean to Make sure to Download All Parts before trying to install. I have a Mac and I have never done this before. Do I download all 13 parts and then unarchive them together at the same time or no. I Downloaded all 13 parts last time with the update pack and put them in a faces folder in my graphics folder but it still didn't work.
Qvordrup
You are a premium member, so all you have to do is to download the complete pack (always updated to include latest update) and extract it to your graphics folder. After that you can just download any future updates and apply them on your complete pack. The other info is for users that are not premium members… they have to download a lot of parts to get the full file 👍🙂
Qvordrup
Put the 13 parts in the same folder, they are bundled together and will all extract at once. No need to look what is inside 🙂👍
Qvordrup
Delete what you have. Then download the complete pack using chrome (or any download manager available online) so you can resume any interruptions in your download making sure you get the full file. Then just extract it to your graphics folder 👍🙂

Thank you

You replace the old config with the config from the download.
Use Winrar to extract the pack.
Latrell yard man
that is where i was going wrong i was renaming the new config confiq 1 so i had the two configs in the face pack, i never thought the new update confiq would have all the information and codes from the main confiq if that makes sense well it made sense to me at the time 😄
mons
Why on earth would you complicate it like that, when it's a simple copy/paste/overwrite exercise?? 🤣🤣

Hi all at sortitoutsi,
First of all wanted to say thank you for all the hard work you do and the megapacks are great. I used to sift through and download everything and appreciate how much help it is putting it in one place. I for one am really grateful.
I do have a question, I have downloaded all parts of the megapacks and the latest change and put them in the correct place and I seem to have either lost or a number of photos do not exist - PSG and Mbappe et al seem to be a prime example. I wondered if it is a licence issue but it seems random (de Gea, non dutch/french league players) - I've looked at their id's and they don't exist in my faces folder - do I need to manually add them or go in and fiddle with the config file. I really wanted to avoid that as it risks messing up the 75% that are fine and what I've spent the time adding.
Wondered if anyone else experienced the same? I wondered if I had a “dodgy part” and re-downloading that would solve it.
mons
Without seeing screenshots of your megapack folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder, it's a bit hard to tell.
However, I reckon you either haven't downloaded the full megapack or haven't installed it right. My suggestion would be to delete everything you have, and just download the torrent file. Once you do, download the 2024.01 update pack too, and you should be up-to-date with all 440k+ images in the megapack 👍
ShaunyS
thanks for coming back to me and sorry, of course I should have posted screenshots. I'm trying to go through and see if I can establish a pattern between the missing people and the megapack part. My config file looks ok and also here are my paths and where it sits in my folder.

I want to start a new career on FM14 and would like megapack 6.0 however I can't find it anywhere to download. Is there anyway on here where I can get it from or and alternative link in order to download it?
I don't want to use any of the latest packs as the players have since moved clubs/retired e.g. Rooney is now a manager so his current picture will look odd in FM14.
mons
The fact you have a blank face instead of the default silhouette means it is a config issue, with the game looking for an image in a folder which contains a config but not that particular image. Given you “only” have 293k out of the 440k+ images in the full megapack, my analysis that you either haven't downloaded the full megapack or haven't installed it right still stands. My suggestion remains to delete everything you have, and just download the torrent file. Once you do, then download the 2024.01 update pack too, and you should be up-to-date with all 440k+ images in the megapack 👍
There is a link to the torrent for FM14 in the FAQ, but you have to be realistic with trying to find seeds for files which are 10 years old…

Thank Mons, surely the full pack is stored on this website for direct download as at one point or another all previous megapacks would've been available for direct download for premium members? For example there would've been a new megapack for say FM21 on here so I'd expect that to be archived somewhere.
If not I'm hoping that someone who does have it could put it into a zip file and re-upload it on here for download.
mons
Unfortunately, in order to save server space, only the most recent megapack is ever saved on the site. Here's hoping some kind-hearted soul not only still has his FM14 or FM15 folder saved, but he is willing to share the massive file with you 👍

I found it 🙂
Version 6.00 - Football Manager Cut Out Player Faces Megapack Megapack (sortitoutsi.net)
IceEyesPig
Hello,
I've problems with the iconfaces on the Vince Skin that supports your faces. I can see player faces everywhere (es: tactics) but not on the squad recap. Where the iconfaces should be present I see the shirt of the player. In attach you can find my situation, tactics is ok but squad not.
I've already contacted the author of the skin and he told me that is not a matter of the skin. Some other Football Manager players are facing my same issue.
I've already tried removing and re-installing the cutout pack with the most updated one but the problem is still present. I'm using cutout faces since FM20 with the same skin and I've never experienced this problem before.
Could you please help?
Thanks,
Marco

Great 🍻
I'm not sure what we can do about this 😕

Greetings!
Every year I download and install the Cut Out Player Faces but now at FM24 the photos doesn't appear in game. Anyone with the same problem?
FIY I'm using Zealand NewGAN for newgens and their faces are working fine.
Thanks for the help!

That specific player (and probably others) in your Calabria.png image might actually be missing from your folder shown in Print.png
stephen wormald
i have installed facepack in correct postion see faces of the player i have bought but no other faces at my club liverpool
mons
A blank space means there is a config file pointing to an image which isn't that folder. This usually happens when someone installs an update pack in a separate folder to the megapack base folder.

Managed to download all 13 parts however I'm getting the following issue when trying to open the rar files on Mac:
No matter which file I try to unzip it will only extract part 1. So I've extracted part 12 fine but when I try to extract part 2 it again extracts part 1 leaving me with 2x part 1 files. Same issue occurs for all parts regardless of which I select.
Anyone having the same issue or know how to resolve?
Thank you
mons
Save all parts in the same folder. Use Winrar to extract part 1. It'll find the other parts automatically and extract the lot together.
