I'd say 2 or 3 dozen regular cutters, at best guess.

Thanks to all of them. I thought it was only a handful of cutters. Amazed there's that many cutters working on this project, much bigger than I expected.

I only collected the cuts. ALL the credit should go to our small yet committed and dedicated crack team of cutters who month after month and year after year continue providing such a large amount of consistently excellent cuts 🍻

Thought there was loads of work for one person! Credit to the whole team then!! How many strong is the Cut-Out Megapack team out of interest?

No idea what clearing the buffer means. More info is needed, ideally with screenshots.

When you say you don't have any photos of players, do you mean you get a blank space instead of the cut-out, or the silhouette? And does this happen for all players, or just some of them?

Think its clearing the cache?

Currently getting a broken zip file error - is there a fix?

I had the same with the initial download. I re-downloaded it at 5.20am this morning and that one extracted fine for me just now.

Update 2023.02 is now live and ready to be downloaded 😀

The download says it's 66.1GB? Isn't that almost 10x its normal size?

Just unpacked it and there's a folder called teams with a sub-folder called teams with a sub-folder called teams…. etc. Each sub-folder has 71,575 files so this is where the 66GB is coming from.

Premium download has now been updated, i'm still testing it myself and will make another torrent when i've confirmed it's definitely fixed.

I've just downloaded it and unpacked the file without any issues. Did you find out what the problem was?

Can you try downloading now to see if the problem is still there?

And can anyone give an update on if the torrent is working or not?

Same error message comes up instantly with 7-Zip. 1.67GB of files end up in the unzipped folder.

I'm getting a “There are some data after the end of the payload data” error message on the 2023.00 rar when I right-click on the file and unpack it using 7-Zip. If I open the file and look inside the sortitoutsi folder the faces directory only appears to be about 1.65GB so although the file is 9.5GB to download the faces folder is the only sub-folder.

I downloaded the full pack. I just calculated the checksum of the file: 5b6644110230ee57a260227104baca7a. Does this match the original file on the server?

Is anyone else seeing the number 1 in a yellow box next to Downloads but then when they hover over the Downloads text and click on the yellow “1 files need updating” button there's actually nothing there to be downloaded? It's as if the Downloads button on the top nav bar isn't clearing somehow.

Hi @mons and colleagues - Thanks for all you do to make FM a better experience for us. Can I ask what @Footygamer did to compress the pack from 22GB+ to less than 15GB? Were duplicate images removed or has a higher/better compression method been used?

Just asking out of interest as 22+ to less than 15GB is a pretty impressive reduction in file size however it was done!

I am trying to download the Steel logos megapack's initial release but clicking on the 'Direct Download' link on this page, https://sortitoutsi.net/media/1409068/download, doesn't seem to work and the page reloads. I have clicked on the Mediafire link and it's downloading at between 80 and 130kB. To compare that with the update packs that I was able to download at 5.1MB and you can see why I'd prefer a direct link to be available, especially as a paying premium member. The pack was going to take over 9 hours to download so I've cancelled it. I was able to download the latest update pack, which is a similar size, in minutes.

Is there a direct link available that the button needs to point to?

Just checked the files and both are the same fmf file for some reason named the same i think

Same for me. Same file name but ever so slightly very minor difference in file size.

Is there a direct link we can use to download the kits?

Yep, exactly like that. I suppose a weekly email would be useful for some people but a daily one would be what I would choose. 🙂

That shouldn't be happening.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to replicate your experience yet in order to figure out how to fix it.

Could you possibly experiment with dragging the edges of the browser window to resize it and see what effect it has. As it gets narrower it should automatically resize all the way to mobile sizes.

I'm not saying that's a "fix" it just might provide an indication as to why it's happening.

If I alter my browser size the column on the right disappears below a certain size. At roughly 1594x894 the column on the right has no white space to its right. After that, say 1596x894 the white space re-appears.

Will there be an alternative, perhaps dark, skin? This new skin has too much white and not enough contrast for me. I do have a 3440x1440 so that probably means I'll see more of a white background than most but the site is just a big block of white for me and it's a bit too much.

Yeah I've got that too. I couldn't work out why that column was so wide.

I think it's where there's two images with the same filename but one is of a .png format and the other is a .PNG format.

No, for the simple reason that the area for the text string to appear is smaller one some pages, which is why there are two separate kind of names.

If you really wanted to, you could use the club name change method illustrated in the first post to manually change them all yourself, which would be save-game compatible, but as you can imagine, it's a hell of a lot of work for only cosmetic benefit.

Is there a way to force FM to use the long name of a club rather than the short name? So instead of Man Utd it would say Manchester United etc?

I don't know which file to edit to force FM to do this, if it is possible at all.

I can't remember but it could well be that the .PNG's were added initially. FM doesn't read PNG's but only png's (don't ask me why) and so when this issue was spotted, these 2 cuts (and maybe more) were added to the megapack in png format to ensure they are visible in-game. Certainly nothing to worry about That's it, it's really rather simple.

Hey mons. Cool, thanks. I always unpacked the zip and got the duplicate file message from 7-Zip so I assumed there were loads. I decided to check last night how many there really were by doing each file clash one at a time and was surprised it was only 2!

I've found two sets duplicate files with the same name, different dates and sizes. In both cases it looks like one has an extension of .png and the other .PNG.

They are 91185039 and 768274. The 91185039 are both the same size and of the same person but different photos. In one you can see a red shirt collar and in the other you can't. https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-2020/player/91185039/tarsis-bonga

I have placed the files in S:\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\textures\crowd\ and I can't really see any change. I've set Steam to look at the S: drive for my graphics so I know this is OK. I didn't have a textures folder in S:\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\ so perhaps the game wasn't looking for a folder there?
